About Peshala
Peshala is a professional marketer based in Sri Lanka with extensive exposure in B2C and B2B markets with expertise in Communication Management, Media Management and Research, Branding, Customer Marketing, Business Development/Sales, Customer Relationship Management, E- Commerce, Team Management, Operations Management and Business Strategy Development through his 12 + years’ experience in Sri Lankan modern trade, confectionery and bakery operations and paint manufacturing and sales.
With 12+ years’ experience in Marketing and over 7 of those in Management capacity I take pride in driving business results using effective marketing planning and team management strategies for local conglomerates, start ups ans SMEs. With a solid academic and professional validation in my stream of work having attained the ‘Chartered Marketer’ status from CIM (UK) in 2017 as a young marketer, I am also an MBA and a Business Administration graduate. I have also attained the ‘Certified Digital Marketer’ status from CIM (UK) in 2021 to effectively device marketing strategies in the digital era.
I train, lecture and speak on Marketing, E Commerce, Strategic Management, Career Development and Communications with the objective of developing next generation marketers and business leaders and also conduct comprehensive training programs for front line retail staff to improve customer service and customer centricity.
